Diese Treppe haben wir vor einigen Wochen hergestellt, geliefert und montiert. Die Trittstufen und die Podeste sind aus Nussbaum, keilgezinkt. Die Stufen und die Podeste haben wir auf eine Stahlunterkonstruktion montiert.
Eine gradlinige und moderne Treppenanlage. Hat uns selber sehr gut gefallen.

Castle Sierck in Sierck-les-Bains is located in the north west of the Moselle in Lothrngen. It is located 18 km northeast of Thionville and 3 km from the borders of Luxembourg and Germany.

Weithin sichtbar erhebt sich der schlanke, 88 Meter hohe Schlosskirchturm aus der Silhouette der Lutherstadt Wittenberg und markiert das westliche Ende der Altstadt. Nähert man sich diesem Schlosskirchturm, erkennt man eine filigran anmutende neugotische Turmhaube, unter der sich ein mit Mosaikstein gestaltetes Spruchband befindet, auf dem in metergroßen Buchstaben die Worte des Kirchenliedes Martin Luthers „Ein feste Burg ist unser Gott, ein gute Wehr und Waffen“ zu lesen sind.

Ab 1489 ließ Kurfürst Friedrich der Weise das Schloß mit Schloßkirche erbauen. Die Kirche wurde bald nach ihrer Einweihung 1503 Universitätskirche. An der Stelle der damaligen Haupteingangstür befindet sich heute die berühmte in Bronze gegossene Thesentür mit den 95 Thesen Luthers gegen den Ablaßhandel in lateinischer Sprache. Nach mehrmaligen Zerstörungen der Schloßkirche wurde sie in den Jahren 1885 - 1892 im Wesentlichen in ihrer heutigen Gestalt wieder hergerichtet. Im Inneren der Kirche finden wir u.a. die Gräber Luthers und Melanchthons.

Von dem ehemals prächtigen Schloß der Kurfürsten von Sachsen ist heute leider fast nichts mehr zu sehen. Lediglich die beiden Treppenhäuser in den Hofecken sind noch zur historischen Substanz zu zählen. Der Rest des Schlosses wurde durch den Umbau zur preußischen Kaserne 1819 zu einem recht tristen Dasein verurteilt. Derzeit sind im Schloß eine Jugendherberge, das Museum für Natur- und Völkerkunde "Julius Riemer" sowie das Restaurant "Schloßkeller" zu finden.

Die weltberühmte Schlosskirche ist Bestandteil des UNESCO-Weltkulturerbes und schließt das gesamte Objekt von der Nordseite ab. Berühmtheit erlangte sie, als am 31. Oktober 1517 der bis dahin nahezu unknown Wittenberg Augustinian monk and theology professor Martin Luther spread his 95 Latin Disputationsthesen. Seither ist sie fast vollständig restauriert worden.
